“YouTube” faces “Tiktok” with BTS

It seems that YouTube has decided to challenge Tik Tok by introducing YouTube Short to the world. After testing in India a year ago, the service has been launched in more than 100 countries around the world. Therefore, YouTube is trying to catch up with Tik Tok through a new short video platform, which has several things in common with it.

Both systems allow users to record 15 seconds of video (or longer if needed), and also provide the option of downloading multiple videos externally.

Both systems provide the functions of downloading music from the library, adding lyrics, changing the speed and setting the countdown, but there are some differences between the two, and Tik Tok provides filters to create interesting videos, and YouTube does not have this goal in the future.

Allows users to extract audio clips from existing YouTube clips to expand the audio capabilities of short videos, which means a huge video library with millions of legally available clips. From movies, shows and series, and of course songs.

In order to attract users, YouTube and the famous Korean group BTS launched a new challenge to encourage anyone who likes to dance to post a 15-second short YouTube video containing the group’s critically acclaimed song "Permission to Dance". And with #PermissiontoDanceChallenge tag. The challenge started on July 23 and will last until August 14.

During this period, anyone from all over the world can participate in this song. As part of the contract, BTS will highlight some of their favorite short films in the music video compilation.

A short video of the group itself proved to be one-sided. Motivate participants.
